Wormeries (also known as Worm Composters or Worm Bins) are a series of linked compartments housed in a single, invariably plastic, unit, frequently resembling the shape of a beehive.
Organic matter such as vegetable and garden waste, toilet roll inserts and teabags are fed into the top compartment and broken down by worms which digest the organic waste and turn it into both an excellent compost and a highly concentrated liquid fertiliser.
A Wormery is an absolute must for any kitchen garden, and is as inexpensive as it is indispensable!
